These words of the great creative thinker instigated us to start our organisation The Council of Basic & Technical Education (W.B) with the motive to illuminate populace. TCBTE is an inventive institute that provides high quality array of computer and technical courses to the various contenders from all segments of the society. Objectives

TCBTEWEB has been established with sole motive to provide and promote vocational training programmes and create awareness about IT among people. We mainly focus to conduct these courses in the rural and backward areas. It is our strong believe that the need of IT literacy is exceedingly required in the diffident regions so that a major segment of the population residing in these regions can utilize the knowledge of Information Technology to enhance their standard of living. We also emphasise to set-up franchisees in the remote areas with the intention to encourage IT education in local languages.

The organisation works on self-finance basis without any financial grant from the State or Central Govt. to achieve the following objectives :

Develop entrepreneurship.
Impart trainings in the field of IT.
Create awareness regarding Information Technology among the mass.
Provide job oriented short term courses to the unemployed youths.
Aid the students of backward communities to develop vocational skills.
To provide training to the employed as well as unemployed youth in association with government or semi-government bodies

Records of all the students relating to admission, attendance, batch number, assessment, etc are maintained by the respective centres as well as the head office.
Our assessment procedure is very rigorous. The assessment committee at head office controls paper setting and evaluation of answer copies. The assessment consists of three part viz – theory, practical and assignments. Students must secure minimum passing marks of 45% in theory, practical and assignment to avail the certificate of proficiency.
